What is a professional service fee?
It is a standard fee added to bookings to cover the professional travel agent services you are receiving as part of your booking. It covers the research into the trip, checking locations, recent reviews, and price shopping to find you the best value for your vacation. It covers personalized recommendations to enhance your trip. It covers the research and monitoring of the travel restrictions and entry/exit requirements. It covers the support from the time you start planning until after your return home.
The service starts with the pre-planning. This is where I get the key information on what you are looking to get out of your vacation. From there I start researching your trip and will present you with an initial quote where we can review and select the personalized options for your trip. From here we move into the planning phase where we have narrowed down the choices and start planning out the details of the full vacation. Once this has been confirmed we move into the booking phase where I get all your trip components booked. This isn’t where it ends though I continue to monitor your trip until departure for any changes, including the changing covid-19 protocols and keep you updated on relevant requirements for your trip. I prepare all of your travel documents for you into one easy package and check-in with you prior to departure to make sure that everything is taken care of. While you are travelling, I am available to assist with any unexpected events (rebooking a missed connection, etc.). You get personalized expert advice and support throughout the entire process from the initial planning until after you return home.

All professional services fees are PLUS HST and non-refundable. Professional Service Fees are in addition to any fees charged by the supplier of your product.
